Ezgi Barcenas
L'Oréal's Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer
Ezgi Barcenas is the Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer of L’Oréal Groupe and Chief Executive Officer of the Fondation L'Oréal, as well as a member of the Group’s Executive Committee. She is responsible for the Group’s global sustainability strategy, overseeing the L’Oréal for the Future program, which is built around four strategic axes: steward the climate transition, safeguard nature, drive circularity and support communities. Her mission is to future-proof the business by enabling long-term environmental, social and economic sustainability across its value chain. Moreover, she oversees the L’Oréal Fund for Nature Regeneration, the L'Oréal Fund for Women, and the L’Oréal Climate Emergency Fund, which were created to build resilience and empower communities through innovation and local action. Under her leadership, the Group launched in 2025 a Sustainable Innovation Accelerator program, endowed with 100 million euros over 5 years to further catalyze new breakthrough technologies in support of its sustainability transformation. Prior to joining L'Oréal, Barcenas served as the Chief Sustainability Officer at AB InBev. Her leadership and commitment to sustainability have earned her numerous accolades, including being named to TIME magazine's TIME100 Climate list and receiving the Sustainability Trailblazer award from Reuters Responsible Business in 2022. Barcenas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, a Master's Degree in Environmental Health from the Harvard School of Public Health, and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is a dual citizen of Cyprus and the USA.

Rachel Barré
L'Oréal VP of Sustainability, Environmental Leadership
Rachel Barré is a passionate advocate for sustainability and social empowerment at L’Oréal Groupe, where she currently serves as the Vice President of Sustainability, Environmental Leadership. Her career reflects a deep commitment to making a positive impact. Barré began at L’Oréal's Research & Innovation department, pioneering the company's sustainable innovation strategy and leading on sustainable sourcing for biodiversity-based ingredients. In 2015, she transitioned to the Corporate Responsibility team, focusing on nature-based solutions for climate change and playing a key role in accelerating L’Oréal’s zero deforestation policy. As Environmental Leadership Director, she architected "L’Oréal for the Future," the company's comprehensive sustainability program launched in 2020, which she actively guides with a focus on climate, nature and circularity. Additionally, she manages three impact funds, including the L’Oréal Fund for Nature Regeneration, dedicated to restoring biodiversity, the Circular Innovation Fund, focused on promoting the circular economy, and the L’Oréal Climate Emergency Fund, which supports vulnerable communities to develop greater resilience in the face of climate disasters. She is also leading the Group’s newly launched Sustainable Innovation Accelerator, a 100-million-euro program to further catalyze new breakthrough technologies in the pursuit of sustainable solutions. Her background in agronomy and CSR management provides a solid foundation for her work merging business with environmental and social responsibility.

Cannelle Lacoste
L'Oréal Sustainability Director, Innovation and Circularity
Cannelle Lacoste is the Sustainability Director, Innovation and Circularity, at L'Oréal Groupe. Building on a 14+ year career, including in operational product development and product innovation, followed by Corporate Responsibility roles ranging from the activation of the L’Oréal for the Future program across brands and divisions to the elaboration of the Group’s climate philanthropy strategy. Since 2022, she is in charge of deploying the Circular Innovation Fund, an impact investment fund of which L’Oréal is anchor investor of 50M€. In her current role, Cannelle leads the growth of L’ACCELERATOR, the Group’s first sustainable innovation accelerator program, endowed with 100M€ over 5 years. She works closely with L’Oréal experts, Zones, and Divisions, and in partnership with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, to identify, pilot, and scale breakthrough sustainable solutions. She continues to oversee the Circular Innovation Fund, ensuring strategic alignment and driving collaborative impact across internal and external partners. Cannelle holds a Master of Engineering in Biochemistry and Biotechnologies.
