The inspiration behind Without stemmed from a stark reality: approximately 855 billion flexible sachets are sold globally every year, with less than 1% ever recycled, while 15 to 20 million informal waste-pickers collect this material in unsafe, impoverished conditions. Anish walked away from a finance career in New York to prove that deep tech and deep social impact could be built together.
Without’s breakthrough innovation is VerdiCycle™, a patented chemo-mechanical extraction process. Unlike energy-intensive pyrolysis or gasification, VerdiCycle™ takes post-consumer multi-layered packaging—such as sachets and pouches—and separates them into three clean, usable output streams: virgin-grade recycled polymers (VerdiFLX™), pure raw ingredients for rPET (VerdiPTA™), and composites (VerdiMIX™).
