Recognizing the immense potential to rethink how metallic finishes are created, Dr. Laurélie Poulard (PhD chemist with extensive expertise in advanced optical materials) and Grégory Dupeyre (deeptech entrepreneur) united their scientific and entrepreneurial backgrounds to found Auressens in 2020. Their goal: create low-carbon metallic effects without the use of metals.
Auressens’ flagship innovation is Alchimie 2.0®, a patented coating technology that creates premium metallic effects—from glossy finishes to mirror-like reflections—using engineered bio-based organic pigments that interact uniquely with light.
